Tease Salon was born from a dream by its founder, Dan, who sought to create a space where both creativity and client care thrived. Tired of working in environments that stifled his artistry and failed to prioritize clients' best interests, Dan took matters into his own hands. With the support of friends and family, he transformed a small storefront in an up-and-coming neighborhood into the vibrant and welcoming salon he envisioned. Tease Salon officially opened its doors in January 2007 and has proudly served the Bay View community for over a decade.

Today, Tease Salon stands as one of Milwaukee’s premier hair salons and a leader in education for Southeastern Wisconsin. By fostering connections with educators nationwide, the salon offers continuous learning opportunities for its stylists and prepares newly licensed cosmetologists for successful careers. The collaborative environment encourages stylists of all experience levels to work together, creating tailored plans for each client. In 2017, Tease expanded to a second floor, enabling the team to welcome more stylists and clients as the Bay View community continues to flourish.

Tease Salon is deeply rooted in community involvement. As members of the LGBT Chamber of Commerce and a certified Strands for Trans salon, they actively participate in Bay View events, sponsor families during the holidays, showcase local artists, and contribute to fundraisers. This commitment not only supports their business but uplifts the entire neighborhood.
